Jesse Baynard, Chief Technology OfficerJesse Baynard is the senior developer and the chief technology officer at Rivergy. As the CTO Jesse defines the best practices and procedures that Rivergy uses in order to develop some of the finest Internet applications available on the web today.
Baynard, a Florida native, joined the company in 1999 just before the height of the "Internet Bubble". During this time he has had a first hand look at what works and what does not work on the Internet. Through logical analysis, planning, and solid programming skill he has helped numerous customers remove redundancies, automate processes, reach new audiences, and see their dream projects realized in digital form.
Besides receiving his master of science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida in 2000, Baynard has also become a Microsoft Certified Professional and a highly skilled programmer. He develops applications with a wide variety of languages and platforms, including ASP, Visual Basic, SQL, JavaScript, C, and more. His love of programming began when he got his first computer, a Commodore 64. He was heavily relied on during his academic career by his professors for his technical ability and in 1995 Baynard developed his first web site, one year after the world wide web had first become fully established.
During Baynard's term at the University of South Florida, he was active in the MIS Society, developed an award winning site for the Pinellas County Urban League, taught C as a teacher's assistant, and received the Anderson Consulting Business/MIS scholarship.
